Jeff Taylor
As CEO and vCISO at OTH Security, Jeff has over two decades of experience advising companies on how to scale their security practices across cloud, DevOps and software engineering. With a strong background in Amazon Web Services (AWS), Linux and DevOps, he uses his technical skills and industry knowledge to help clients achieve their security and compliance goals.
Jeff has overseen and driven compliance initiatives including SOC 2, ISO 27001, SOX, CSA STAR, ITSG-33 and PCI DSS for clients ranging from financial services startups to top 20 international banks, federal government departments, e-commerce and media companies. He has also built multiple information security teams of architects, junior and senior engineers, analysts and CISOs, and led multiple EDR, MDR and SIEM migrations and rollouts.
Over the past two years, Jeff has been pleased to act as a mentor for the Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, a major global hub for cybersecurity training, entrepreneurship, research, policy development and public education, based at Toronto Metropolitan University.
